From Observing Quality Practices to Inspiring Action: Our Transnational Meeting in Brno! 💡
The second 3-day transnational meeting took place in Brno, Czech Republic, as part of the Minimal & Functional KA210 E+ project (with our amazing partners @vereinmuse and @eycb.info ). 🤝
More about the project can be found on the coordinator's website, Verein MUSE, HERE
To learn from the incredible work of other organizations, youth groups, and individuals who are making a difference in youth development. The meeting aimed to observe quality practices of different organizations, youth groups, and people working with youth.
During the 3 days of activities, we held several meetings that will mark our future work positively.
📍We kicked things off at Eurocentrum Brno, where their team welcomed us into their office and shared some of their best practices. We heard about their amazing initiatives like Speak Dating, Pub Quiz, and more. One of the highlights was their exhibition featuring stories from young people at a local sports high school—truly inspiring!
📍Later, we entered an amazing world at the Circus LeGrando, where young people develop incredible acrobatic skills. And of course, we couldn’t just watch—we had to try it ourselves! From juggling to walking on nails (yes, really!) and coordination challenges, it was a thrilling and unforgettable experience.
📍Day two was all about relaxation and mindfulness. Robert guided us through five stress-reduction techniques he uses in his facilitation work: Body Scan, Mindful Eating, Be a Bee, 4-6 breathing, and the 3-minute Breathing Space. A much-needed reset for both mind and body!
📍On February 23rd, we explored the work of Bruno for You and got hands-on with their Escape Box and VR set for inclusion - a fun and eye-opening experience.
We ended our transnational meeting with brainstorming and new ideas for workshops for the upcoming main activity in Linz, Austria in April. See you soon, Austria!
