Change, Explore and Grow by Exchange took part as a partner organization in the Youth Exchange "No one Excluded".

Between May 27 and June 3, 2025, the charming town of Sessa Aurunca, Italy, became a vibrant hub of intercultural learning, empathy, and empowerment during the No One Excluded youth exchange. Organized by Cooperativa Sociale Al di là dei sogni, this Erasmus+ project brought together young people from several countries to explore themes of social inclusion, diversity, and active citizenship.

The project gathered 32 participants with different backgrounds and experiences who engaged in a rich program of non-formal education activities. Through interactive workshops, team-building games, role plays, and creative sessions, the young people worked together to better understand the challenges faced by marginalized communities and develop inclusive practices in their own environments.

One of the project’s highlights was the simulation of real-life scenarios related to exclusion and discrimination. These activities encouraged participants to reflect critically, share personal stories, and develop a strong sense of solidarity and responsibility. The multicultural nature of the exchange not only enhanced the learning experience but also built lasting friendships and intercultural understanding.

Participants praised the organization and dedication of the host team. “Very good from the Italian side. They were always attentive, and if we had some suggestions for improvement, they took it into consideration and listened to our wishes,” shared one Bulgarian participant.

For many, the experience was deeply emotional and transformative. Rada Karaivanova reflected:

“I felt surrounded by passionate young people. My favourite memories are the intimate moments I shared with people who were strangers but became my friends in no time. We cared about each other when we were sick or tired, laughing until it hurt, teaching and learning how to swim in the pool, and working in the fields. The local community holds a special place in my heart, too. So welcoming and generous, joking around with us and making us feel like part of the family.”

In addition to the themes of inclusion and diversity, the project also touched on complex societal issues such as organized crime. Raya Georgieva shared:

“Thank you guys for all the amazing memories we created together while also learning more about the really important topic of mafia, not just in Italy, but in our home countries as well. Don't ever be afraid to speak up and remember that you are the change.”

Participants also had the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings of Sessa Aurunca and experience Italian culture through organized cultural evenings and visits to local sites. The host team ensured a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, enabling everyone to feel safe, heard, and inspired.

No One Excluded was not just a project name – it was a lived reality throughout the entire exchange. By the end of the program, participants left with new perspectives, practical tools to foster inclusion, and the motivation to act as ambassadors of change in their local communities.
