Change, Explore and Grow by Exchange took part as a partner organization in the Training Course "Youth Leadership".

“Transforming games into powerful leadership tools!” Last week in Targoviste, Romania, Kalin and Gregorianna (participants from the CEGE family) joined a vibrant group of youth workers from across Europe to explore the intersection of gamification and youth leadership.

The Training Course aimed to empower youth workers with leadership skills and gamification techniques and tools to provide quality activities to young people supporting their professional development in leadership and becoming future leaders, doers, and change-makers within their communities.

This training course is a part of the Erasmus+ Accredited project 2023-1-RO01-KA151-YOU-000124189. The main focus of the training course was to develop the skills of youth workers and equip them with gamification techniques and tools to implement high-quality youth activities with an emphasis on developing the leadership skills of young people. The training course used non-formal education methods and gamification to achieve its aim and objectives.

During 7 days (01 - 08 August), 20 youth workers from several countries played, discovered, and mastered the work methods suitable for small and large groups.

The participants from Bulgaria, sent by CEGE - Gregorianna and Kalin gained a lot of new knowledge, built friendships and enriched their horizons. About their participation in the project the participants says: 

"I have experienced many things, met people from different cultures and backgrounds, which was very enriching. We have had very fruitful activities related to the project topic, managed to exchange ideas, experiences and thoughts, which we can implement in our daily lives and professional activities." - Gregorianna

"The project was organized very well. The organization responded each comment or a call for tune or change time, food, or any other details Youth Leadership was presented from the perspective of such concepts like values evaluation, skills development, design thinking, and gamification. The training place was tremendously modern, conceptual, convenient, and clean. It was a main pedestrian street event place.  The program was nice as the place like Targoviste offered. The participants were very good team and the interaction was fruitful. The training team of about five persons put a lot of effort into ensuring the program will be delivered right and everybody feels OK." - Kalin
